Guaranteed €100 Million EuroMillions Jackpot

Lottery officials have announced that there will be a Guaranteed €100 million EuroMillions jackpot to play for on Friday 28 September 2012. Although the word hasn’t actually been used, this looks very much like a Mega Jackpot game, because the €100 million (around £80 million) will be available irrespective of what happens in the draws leading up to it. In other words, if someone lands the jackpot on Tuesday 25 September – meaning that the Friday jackpot would normally be worth €15 million – players will still be playing for the advertised guaranteed sum of €100 million!

This special EuroMillions draw is the same as other EuroMillions Superdraws as although the jackpot is guaranteed it can rollover if no players manage to match the five plus two combination drawn. Therefore this impressive jackpot can rollover and will carry on doing so until a ticket holder matches the numbers drawn or until the top prize hits the EuroMillions jackpot cap.

Superdraws happen from time to time in the EuroMillions and around this time last year there was another guaranteed jackpot on offer to win. This draw (number 421) had a €100 million jackpot available to win however no players matched the numbers drawn so it rolled over to the following draw in which the UK ticket holders Angela and Dave Dawes matched the numbers drawn to win the EuroMillions jackpot that came out at £101/€117 million.
