Teenage Millionaire Has No Regrets Over Going Public

As EuroMillions players across the continent look forward to the chance to win £17 million (€24 million) tonight, they may allow themselves to ponder whether they would make their identity public if they scooped the top prize or remain anonymous. The UK’s youngest EuroMillions winner was only 17 when she landed a seven-figure windfall on the supplementary Millionaire Maker (formerly Millionaire Raffle) game and has no regrets about going public.

Jane Park, now 18, has been in the headlines after taking part in a television documentary about a year in the life of a teenage millionaire. She has received some criticism online, but is happy that she decided to share her story. Jane, who won £1 million, told This Morning:  “I was only 17 and I think I had never read a story about a young lottery winner and I would have loved to have read what a young lottery winner would have done with a million pounds." Jane’s first purchases were a Louis Vuitton designer handbag and a dog, while she has also been on holiday to Magaluf and got breast enhancement surgery after turning 18.

If you land the jackpot this evening you can choose to keep your identity a secret or, even if you are happy to go public, there is no pressure to go the extra mile and go on TV. You can start planning how you might want to spend your money, and there is an awful lot of it in the pot after a rollover on Tuesday night.

Check out the Results section for a full breakdown of the latest draw, when three lucky participants around Europe matched five main numbers plus one Lucky Star to earn €303,065 each. The jackpot had been snapped up in the previous draw on Friday 10th July by a player from Spain, who became the 74th EuroMillions winner from the country as they bagged €40.9 million (£29.4 million).

You will need to get hold of a ticket to be in with a chance of grabbing a prize tonight, so make sure to either enter online or visit an authorised retailer in one of the countries taking part. If you’re a first-time player or just looking for a change of luck, you could use the Random Number Generator to choose your line, and then check back on Euro-Millions.com after the draw to find out the results. Have fun and best of luck!
