Do You Use Statistics To Choose Your EuroMillions Numbers?

A EuroMillions jackpot of £24 million (€29 million) is up for grabs tonight for anyone who matches all five main numbers and both Lucky Stars, and players across Europe will be considering how to pick their lines in an effort to snap up the eight-figure prize.

One method for choosing numbers is to look at the EuroMillions Statistics, where you can find detailed information compiled from all the draws in the 13-year history of the game. If you prefer, you can filter the stats just to see what has happened since changes came into effect last September, and base your decision on whether to pick numbers that have been drawn most frequently or are most overdue.

The most numbers that have appeared in the winning line the most since September have been 10, 27, 23, 7 and 17, while the most common Lucky Stars have been 9 and 2. The number 9, in fact, has been drawn as a Lucky Star in five of the past eight draws, but is the most overdue main number as it has not appeared for 108 days. If you want to pick the most overdue line, a selection of 9, 42, 12, 37 and 6, with Lucky Stars 12 and 1, would be the way to go.

The stats page also shows the most common pairs, triplets and consecutive pairs, allowing you to delve into the numbers to work out which ones you think might come up tonight. The odds of landing the jackpot will remain the same regardless of which numbers you select, but it has been a great year for players already in 2017 and it could just be that the top prize gets snapped up again this evening.

Whether you use statistics, prefer to pick numbers of personal significance or just go for a random selection, you can choose your numbers online to try and win a huge prize, or visit an authorised retailer in one of the participating countries. Good luck!
